Privacy notice for fleet and school account holders
This notice explains what personal data Niyainfo Private Limited ("Traxigo", "we") uses when you hold an account on the Traxigo tracking platform (web panel and admin app), why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and what your rights are under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. What data we use
- Account details: your email address, name, phone number, password (stored only in scrambled form), language and settings.
- Vehicles and devices you add: names, number plates, tracker IMEI, SIM number, and the location, speed and status each tracker sends.
- People you add: drivers (name, phone, email, documents such as a driving licence), and for schools, students and parents (see the separate notice for parents). You must have the right to give us this information.
- Trip and business data: trips, stops, contact persons, expenses and documents you upload.
- Usage data: sign-in times, the IP address of your device, and a record of changes you make.
- AI Assistant (only if you switch it on): the questions you type and the answers.
2. Why we use it
- To provide the tracking service you sign up for: show live locations, history, alerts and reports.
- To keep your account secure and to prevent misuse.
- To answer support requests and complaints.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Who we share it with
We share only what each service needs to work for you:

We may also share data when the law requires it.
4. How long we keep it
- Location history and events: 90 days (30 days for school buses), unless you choose a shorter period.
- AI Assistant chats: 30 days.
- One-time codes: 1 day.
- Security and access logs: 1 year.
- Your account data: while your account is active; after you close it, we erase it unless the law requires us to keep it. We warn you 48 hours before erasing data because of inactivity.
5. Your rights
You may at any time:
- ask for a summary of your personal data and who we shared it with;
- ask us to correct, complete or update it;
- ask us to erase it;
- withdraw your consent — this stops the service from that point, but does not affect what was done before;
- name another person to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to;
- complain to us, and if not satisfied, to the Data Protection Board of India.
